The Volkswagen T-Roc - Key Features & Specifications
Added: 02 November 2017
Robust, modern, elegant, just a few ways to describe the new Volkswagen T-Roc which readily embraces the future with an all-new design combined with Volkswagen’s characteristic build quality. Unprecedented levels of functionality and technology enhanced by attention to detail places this new VW model firmly in a league of its own.
The Volkswagen T-Roc
Volkswagen claims that “Strong, striking and sporty, the new T-Roc exudes character and confidence”, so what is the fuss all about? The SEL model with its wide radiator grille with integrated LED dual headlights and separate unique signature LED daytime lights creates a distinctive look, especially at night. Additionally the strong body style with its wide front air intake emphasises a bold stance. Furthermore, state-of-the-art dynamic handling, new technology, impressive specification and the option to personalise all adds up to a compact SUV that will be equally at home in the city or on challenging rural terrain.
Features of the T-Roc include the elongated silhouette which is characterised by a striking chrome strip running the length of the roofline, while a choice of contrasting colours for the roof, A-pillar and door mirrors on Design models, allow you to create an individual style.
Again VW state that “The interior of the new T-Roc Design is the epitome of contemporary design and individuality”! A choice of four interior colours gives customers the opportunity to personalise the interior. With ample space for passengers and luggage the new T-Roc offers all you could ask for from a compact SUV in terms of comfort, style and convenience.
All T-Roc 4 MOTION models feature Volkswagen Active Control, which allows you to adapt your T-Roc to suit the weather and road conditions ahead. Its four driving modes include; on road, off-road, and snow mode, enabling the driver to find the optimum choice for driving wherever your journey takes you!
Also standard on 4MOTION models is the VW Park Assist system which not only makes parallel parking easier, but also helps you reverse park into a space at 90 degrees to the kerb. Ultrasonic sensors will detect a parking space large enough for either bay or parallel parking so when in reverse all the driver has to do is operate the accelerator, brake and of course keep a lookout!
An option for all T-Roc models is VW Lane Assist; a camera controlled warning system that alerts you if your vehicle drifts out of its lane, helping to reduce the chance of an accident. Using a camera located in the rear view mirror Lane Assist monitors the road markings and prevents unintentional lane deviations. However the system will only intervene if the indicators are not used so when overtaking the system switches off.
